We are celebrating our ten year anniversary in 2009. In a decade, we have established a reputation for innovative and clever process solutions.

History

ProPure was created as a spin-off from Framo Engineering AS in February 1999 with shares owned 50% by Statoil (now StatoilHydro) and Framo. Three years later in 2002, Statoil ASA took over Framo's shares and the company became a 100% Statoil subsidiary, organised under Statoil's Industrial Development Group I&K.

In 2004 all of ProPure's shares were transferred to Pure Process Solutions AS (PPS), a holding company jointly owned by Statoil ASA and Energivekst (a venture capital company part of Hitec Vision).

In 2006 CTour Process System AS was merged into ProPure AS, formally developing a relationship that both companies had in producing water treatment.

Pure Process Solutions was acquired by ProSep Inc (formerly known as TORR Canada Inc) in 2007, transforming the holding group into a truly international solution process equipment provider with offices in all the major oil producing regions of the world. Most recently, ProPure opened a sales and service office in Bahrain (ProPure Middle East) to service the clients in the Gulf region offering the full protfolio of proprietary and conventional process technologies of ProSep Inc.

ProPure AS has succesfully commercialised new technology for gas sweetening, crude desalting and produced water treatment to many oil majors around the world, including Saudi Aramco, Pemex, BP, ConocoPhillips, Total, PTT and KOC. ProPure's innovative thinking, and the transfer of these ideas into practical solutions, provides our customers direct results in reducing asset capital and / or operating expenditure.
